Isolation are a hard hitting metal band who keep a firm grip on the importance of melody, with influences from such bands as Metallica, Motley Crue, Machine Head, Trivium and Iron Maiden. They are a Cheltenham based band where other metal giants such as Stampin Ground have hailed. Isolation have signed a deal with Copro/Casket Records and released their debut album "Lockdown" with Worldwide Distribution.
They have already shared the stage with bands such as 3 Inches of Blood, Biomechanical, The Berzerker, Blaze Bayley (ex Iron Maiden), Tygers of Pang Tang, Steve Grimmett/Grim Reaper, OD Saxon, Million Dollar Reload, Black Mollys (USA), Godamn Superstar(Italy), Shellshock and Forever Never to name a few.
At the start of 2008 Isolation decided that a five piece with dual guitars was the way forward and the search for a lead guitarist began and along came Will a top class shredder and soloist from a local band "Irratant" bringing his unique style and endorsements including Marshall, Rotosound and Bareknuckle pick-ups. A permanent bass player was needed to bring Isolation to a fixed line up ready to take on the metal world. Enter Chaz. . . . he had flown into England from America and within 3 days was auditioning for Isolation and that night he became a full time member. Chaz has played in some great bands in the states including "Unbroken" and Grip Inc (featuring the one and only Dave Lombardo from Slayer), being endorsed by Jagermeister he has played many top level shows with bands such as Slayer, Killswitch Engage, Mastadon and Lacuna Coil to name a few.
Isolation win over alien crowds every time they play new venues in new cities. They just need the venue, put them in front of a crowd and they will do the rest. Check them out live near you, where you will be treated to a visual show, involving straight jackets and prison boiler suits, and some serious hard hitting metal.
